Posted by Melanie Miller on

Greetings Glass Enthusiasts!

After a year hiatus from our Blow Your Own glass workshops due to pandemic restrictions- we are excited to be back in action with the public. Our BYO dates and reservations release today via our website; www.HylandGlass.com.

As always, our class sizes are small and space is limited. If you wish to reserve extended space for a large group or private special event- drop us an email and let's talk details! We will be happy to block out a time for you and your party.

Carolyn Spears: Solo Artist Show  June 5- July 5

Transience

Stop in and take it the work of U of L graduate Carolyn Spears.  Carolyn has accepted an invitation to the University of Wisconsin to pursue her MFA and has packed it all up and ventured North.  We are super proud of her and all of her hard work and dedication to furthering her craft in the world of glass. Help fund her path to the finish line by securing a piece or two of hers, before she's famous!

Some of ya may have driven by and wondered if our mower has broken beyond repair...have no fear- it is intentional!  With the celebration of our city's botanical garden, and our passion for nature, we have decided to 'let it grow'...we have implemented the beginning of an urban meadow- free of pesticides and full of wildflowers for our pollinators and feathered friends.  We are open to suggestions.  Should we install a bat house or bird houses? Feeders? Is there a specific native flowering shrub or flower we should plant?

Thanks for all your support and kind wishes this last year. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!

Much Love!
